The Company

Joshua FoistJOSHUA FOIST | Artistic Director, Dancer

Joshua Lee Foist graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and an emphasis in directing/choreography. In early 2012, he formed the company Boundless Endeavors along with Brad Robin and Sarah Church.

Within the first year of the company, Joshua directed and danced in various works beginning with Seasons of the Mind, an original work in collaboration with composer Brad Robin.  Later, with the addition of choreographer Sarah Church, Joshua directed and danced in a continuing work entitled Caricatures of the Mind. 

Following the success of this show, Joshua represented the company out in Wellington, New Zealand in a workshop performance entitled The Pendulum Project, which brought together a collaborative ensemble of artists from Denton, TX (via correspondence) and Wellington, New Zealand.  This relationship helped pave the way to future projects in New Zealand.

Joshua’s background is quite versatile ranging from various forms of martial arts, dance styles, and physical theater. This diversity makes a range of works possible for the company, blending dance, movement, film,  circus, music, storytelling, and other theatrical devices to create new and provocatively innovative works in performance.

Brad RobinBRAD ROBIN | Composer

Brad Robin composes contemporary art music as well as music for film and dance.  He is currently a doctoral student of composition at the University of North Texas, having completed his Masters in Composition at De Paul University in Chicago.

His compositions have included strictly acoustic instrumentation as well as works involving live electronic manipulation for ensembles of various sizes from solo pieces to large chamber ensembles. His works have been performed in the United States as well as New Zealand and Mexico. Brad Robin performs and collaborates with theatre artists and dancers, as well as his Chicago based band, Equinox. He is featured as pianist and composer in collaboration with Boundless Endeavors.
